BLOCKBUSTER MH MEMORIAL

Our Labrador, Casper (AmCh Winnie’s Blockbuster MH) 1994-2006

Casper came to America from Sweden as a puppy in the fall of 1995 at the age of 11 months. Within a short time of his arrival he became an American Champion and in 2000 gained the AKC Master Hunter title. For the next six years, such a short period, he became our constant companion, hunting dog and friend.

Casper made several trips with my wife, Patricia and I out of state including Peace River Canada Maximus Lodge in Alberta and pheasant hunting in North Dakota.

Casper loved being in the field even on the coldest of days and remained vigilant, even on days when few birds were flying.

In his later years Casper became my constant hunting companion at Lone Tree Gun Club, Gustine where he enjoyed retrieving limits of ducks nearly every hunt day of the season.

In August 2006 Casper was stricken with kidney disease and left us far too soon, but with many wonderful memories. Thus, we dedicate the Working Certificate weekend in his honor so that the many good times we shared in the field together may live on forever.
